I’m Pierre, Tech Lead for AuditAgent, an AI-powered smart contract security scanner, at Nethermind.
As of July 2026 (it changes fast), mostly Claude Code with plugins and Codex. Having two tools lets me keep iterating even after I hit a session limit.
I also use ChatGPT on the side for questions, web searches, and non-coding tasks.
It fits everywhere: brainstorming and scoping new projects or features, assessing difficulties, edge cases, and best approaches, implementing and writing code, reviewing and cleaning up code, debugging, PR reviews (especially with the amount of code being pushed increasing), and research.
Self-built desktop running Kubuntu, dual-monitor.
An open-source model that fits on affordable hardware with decent quality and speed, so I can self-host it. Unfortunately, models that can be self-hosted today are still far from frontier performance.
